Tried A Million Things
You have already tried a million different things but while they occupied the time for you, they did not give you a feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment.
You cleaned the house, you watched some shows, you might have even taken a free or paid course online. But while those activities occupied your time, they didn’t leave any value. You want something that will occupy the time but also give you a sense of excitement, achievement, belonging, etc.
And just like that, we have a new and better questions forming.
What To Do When You’re Bored At Home That Has Value?
Passion is what we are after here. If you find something that you are passionate about it will leave you with all sorts of good feelings like happiness, fulfillment, joy, sense of accomplishment. The problem is that sometimes finding passion is not easy. You could try making a list of the things that you line but most likely the passion that you are looking for is at the moment buried deep inside of you.
You can still find it but it will take a bit of digging and allowing to be led there.

How I Discovered My Passion When I Was Bored At Home?
My journey to discovering my passion was long. I was at home, with way too much time on my hands. I tried many things but nothing made me excited. Until one day I found a platform that allowed me to be gently guided towards my passion.
All I new at first is that I had a lot to say, many opinions that I wanted to express, and I kind of wanted to be of service to other people.
That ‘s all I knew at that point.
What the heck can you do with that?
Who is interested in listening to my self-proclaimed wisdom?
But to my biggest surprise, I found a platform that allowed me to use what I had to become successful.

WRONG, this is a story of how by trying many different things I finally found that one thing that allowed me to feel complete again.
Being home for a while, without a job, was really getting to me. Of course, I looked for jobs every day, but that still left me with a lot of free time which I spent many on dwelling on my misfortunes.
I first joined Wealthy Affiliates because it was free. I figured I had absolutely nothing to lose. At first, I could not even picture where this was going. I wasn’t even thinking in terms of getting any profits from it. What I really enjoyed is how the training guided me to create my own website and publish high quality content.
Can you believe it?
Me?
Building my own website?
Well, I couldn’t believe it either, but I did, and it’s amazing.

The Surprising Benefits

I could list a million benefits here. Everything from amazing, easy to follow training to very supportive and encouraging community, but for me, the best benefits were somewhat different
After a year without a job I felt useless and like I was not contributing anything to society. Creating the website, with the intend to help people like me, people that feel the same way as me, was the best feeling ever. I felt great, excited, accomplished, helpful, a creator. No amount of money would be able to buy those feelings for me. I also enjoyed the following:
- to feel the joy of being a part of a community again
- the joy of creating new and exciting things
- the sense of helping people in need
- being able to express my feelings, beliefs, views

In conclusion, to answer the question, what to do when you’re bored at home?
Find your passion!!!
I found mine and utilized it at Wealthy Affiliate platform.
Don’t be afraid to try new things. Don’t feel intimidated when you at first don’t know something, learning new things is a great feeling.
Follow your instincts. If something triggers your interest, hold on to that, do not let it slip away until you give it a good try.
Too many people have amazing ideas and they let them slip away by not exploring the.

Reading throughout ” article” I realise that I see myself in the same position. You are completely right when you were saying that you’ve never thoughts you can be able to do your own website, your own domain, your own business. By yourself. It is a good realisation, indeed!
This was entirely my experience, although I have not long time here in WA, I deeply am into your thoughts. When you become open to receiving more and more, no matter what, Universe/God/Allah whatever different culture call it you will reveal the inside you into outside and you will discover your truly potentially of being. You realise that you can do more, that you are not just that or just that; that you are a truly amazing piece of the source that can do more beyond human can comprehend!
And YES, you reflect the piece of source you are and you realise that all these years you didn’t follow your true passion. But now, through this channel, through WA we all discovered and reflect from inside out the hidden passions. where you can never stop writing and talking and sharing!

Thank you for your comment. I think most people that joined WA have similar experiences. I feel like you really understand what I’m trying to say. I love motivating people, giving them hope, helping them see brighter future, but until now I did not have any means to do that. This is what’s great about this platform. You can take your interests, hobbies, aspirations, and dreams and formulate a plan to incorporate them into your life.
To answer you question, Yes, I think sooner or later, most people find their passions. It might be later for some, but eventually all of us will get there.

Hi Geoff, I’m glad you liked the article. That is the interesting part about it. It did not feel like I was trying something new. I just signed up for the free trial and started doing the training. By the end of the first day I had a website and all of that did not cost me anything. Within a few days I knew that this platform was for me as I started dreaming Big again.
I now have two websites and love my life as I do what I always wanted to but didn’t know what that was exactly. Now I know and it’s great.
